I think it is a valuable resource as it provides notes and insight on both covered and upcoming topics which allows one to revise as well as look into the next topics. Specifically in reference to this blog, I appreciate the concision and choice to lay it out acccording to each point of the syllabus as it provides you with a brief and step-by-step overview of what you need to know - making it a powerful tool for revision. If further information on a subject is wanted the student can always do his own research or suplement it with his/her own notes based on discussions with the teacher. I also appreciate the notes on most pages as to what the examiner will be looking for whe marking a question on the topic (i.e. where the marks will come from for a diagram). As long as the information is accurate and kept up-to-date, this is a very useful tool.
I must comment, however, that blogs to which the students contribute have been the source of some frustration. Both a lack of flexibility in the word processing tools and occasional lack of accessiblity have the potential create stress and wasted time. I would be happy to provide more details on any of these comments if requested.
